No, we caught it on an excursion and released it an hour later.
Is more bad for snakes to vomit than for e.g. mammals?

It can irritate its digestive tract and stress them to such an extent that they will never eat again.

Good to know on the one hand. But it sounds like a quite usefulness invention to die of starvation after puking-stress, which I guess evolution should have deleted. I just imagine a bird catching a snake or another predator surprising it, so that it pukes. But you never know, thanks a lot for the info.
